ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A classic eatery in Ithaca is under new ownership.

Our media partner 14850 dot com reports Denise O’Leary and Ben Roach now own Café DeWitt in the DeWitt Mall. Roach grew up in Ithaca and O’Leary went to Ithaca College. Both have food backgrounds. The basement café closed in December, and the new owners are looking to reopen this spring.

Café DeWitt first opened in 1973.
