Common Council to set salary, search committee for Ithaca City Manager

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca’s first city manager is on the agenda for tonight’s Common Council meeting. 

A search team comprised of four alderpersons will be voted on this evening. They will be tasked with helping to find a city manager, who will oversee day-to-day operations at City Hall starting in January.

The Common Council will also vote on a salary range for city manager. The meeting starts tonight at six.
