Cornell PD searching for suspect in attempted burglary

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cornell Police are investigating a burglary attempt. 

The victim told officers someone tried entering through a locked door at Hasbrouck Apartments in the town of Ithaca around 9:30 last night but ran away after being verbally confronted by the resident. She says the suspect sounded like a man.

It’s not known in which direction the suspect fled. No physical description of the suspect is available.
