CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — There’s a vote tonight in Cortland on accepting a shared services plan for 2024.

Every village and town supervisor, along with Cortland’s mayor and the Cortland County Administrator Rob Corpora, is part of the Cortland County Shared Services Panel.

In October, Corpora released a draft of the proposed plan. It included new shared service proposals like offering the county attorney to towns and villages for legal aid and moving the Village of Homer police department into the Homer Town Hall to save money.

Tonight’s meeting gets started at six.
