DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) — Dryden town officials are moving ahead with constructing a bridge on Route 13.

Jason Leifer is the town supervisor, and he says it would connect the Dryden Rail Trail between Etna and Varna across Route 13.

Monday on Ithaca’s Morning News, Leifer described its purpose.

Leifer also explains why the project has been delayed.

Instead of stairs, it will be a slope. Leifer expects the bridge to be completed by the end of spring 2024.
