ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The clock is ticking for the future of Ithaca Carshare.

If the Legislature-backed bill to permit out-of-state insurance providers to cover non-profit groups in New York isn’t soon signed by Governor Hochul, then Ithaca Carshare will close.

Director Liz Field explains what would happen to their vehicles.

The bill was approved in June.
