Hochul visits Cornell in support of Jewish community

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Governor Kathy Hochul made a stop in Ithaca today.

The governor joined Cornell President Martha Pollack, Cornell Police Chief Anthony Bellamy, New York State Police Zone Commander Captain Mikhail Wolchetsky, students, faculty, and staff, to voice her support for those who were threatened in a series of online posts over the weekend.

Hochul pledged the full support of the state behind local and federal law enforcement agencies in apprehending the people responsible. She also praised the strength and resilience of students. Listen to her full statement below.
