TRUMANSBURG, N.Y. (WHCU) – A local tree farm has been forced to suspend Christmas tree-cutting this season.

Hunt’s Tree Farm in Trumansburg will not be able to offer trees for the holidays due to extensive damage caused by deer. Hunt’s will be selling holiday wreaths and peanut brittle by preorder via telephone at (607)-387-9399, or through their Facebook page. Ownership hopes to reopen for Christmas trees next year.

This closure only applies to the Hunt’s Tree Farm in Trumansburg location.
