ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Next week, the Ithaca Common Council will vote to accept a new memorandum of understanding between the city and Cornell.

Joel Malina is Cornell’s VP of University Relations, and he says the four-million-dollar MOU is just one piece of the puzzle.

Malina adds all that money is spread out.

Months of discussions between Cornell and Ithaca officials resulted in that new MOU over a 21-year period. The Common Council will vote in a special meeting on Wednesday.
