CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Cortland County Legislature has a busy night ahead.

Legislators will decide on giving $100,000 of opioid settlement funds to the Alcohol and Drug Council of Tompkins County. The money would help with a detox and stabilization center.

Officials will also have the final say on creating an assistant public defender position, and they’ll talk about maintenance plans for snowmobile trails. The meeting starts at 6 PM this evening.
