Mirabito’s plans for new service station on East Hill hits snag

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Mirabito wants to build a new service plaza on East Hill, but their plans have not been well received in the town of Ithaca. 

Fred Wilcox is head of the town’s planning board. He says plans to replace the existing Mirabito gas station and the former Burger King restaurant have stalled. 

There’s a lot to consider. 

Wilcox adds he’s not sure when Mirabito will return to the planning board.
