ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A new machine is benefiting Cornell’s animal hospital.

The technology allows veterinarians to clean the blood of pets with kidney diseases. The Cornell Chronicle reports only a few dozen animal hospitals across the nation have similar tech.

Assistant Clinical Professor Doctor Jethro Forbes says, “it’s exciting to see what’s on the horizon.”
