Newfield to host vegetation workshop

NEWFIELD, N.Y. (WHCU) — You can learn about plants this weekend in Newfield.

A specialist from the New York State Parks program will discuss vegetation in the Finger Lakes. Attendees can take home flowerpots.

The event starts at 4 PM on Sunday at the Newfield Public Library.

In other environmental news, a lawn law remains under consideration in Cayuga Heights.
