Newfield woman charged with grand larceny

NEWFIELD, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Newfield woman is facing a felony charge.

Melissa Jenkins is accused of using a company credit card to make personal purchases while working for Serendipity Catering in Ithaca. The 43-year-old allegedly made the purchases from April 2022 through October of this year and totaled more than $5700. State Police arrested Jenkins on Tuesday. Jenkins will face a single grand larceny charge in court at a later date.
