Owego Police officers to get over $1K in pandemic payments

OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Authorities in Owego will receive COVID relief money.

On Monday, the Owego Police Benevolent Association reached a memorandum of agreement with the village. Officers who worked during the pandemic will receive payments of $1,600. The money comes from the American Rescue Plan.

In related news, Owego Police are looking for help in a drug probe.
