OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Town of Owego meetings will become easier to hear.

Officials recently approved the purchase of an audio system for the Town Board room. The technology costs about $10,000. In June, officials renewed a contract with Spectrum that provides cable to public buildings.

Elsewhere in Owego, a new convenience store is coming to town. It’ll be called Keef’s Outlet. The store on Pennsylvania Ave will sell cigarettes, snacks, and guitar parts.
