ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Authorities are investigating the source of potential contamination at the heart of a candy recall.

Iowa-based Palmer Candy Company has recalled all its products containing white-coated confectionary items due to potential salmonella contamination, though the U.S. Food & Drug Administration notes no illnesses have been reported yet.  The candy was distributed nationwide at Walmart, Target, and Dollar General.
