ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – A sidewalk replacement project is underway on the Ithaca Commons.

The work requires the closure of Home Dairy Alley, which connects the Commons and Green Street between the Yellow Deli and Center Ithaca. The closure is affecting pedestrian routes and accessibility to some businesses. Kate Donahue is the Executive Director of Cinemapolis. She wants people to know the non-profit theater is still open during construction.

Donahue adds the Green Street parking garage is open, and the theater is accessible from there. The sidewalk project is expected to last about two weeks.
