Solon, Dryden purchase new construction equipment

SOLON, N.Y. (WHCU) — Local towns are buying new machines for construction.

Solon recently bought a road grader for about $40,000. Town Superintendent Jamison Livermore says the machine runs great and was worth the money.

Elsewhere in the area, Dryden recently spent nearly a quarter-million-dollars on paving equipment.

In related news, Cortland wants to switch to electronic monitoring of parking.
