DRYDEN, N.Y. (WHCU) – Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) has seen an increase in fall enrollment this year.

TC3 classes started on Monday, and school officials say the number of students enrolled represents an 11.4% increase compared to the fall of 2022. It’s the second consecutive year the college has seen a double-digit percentage increase in enrollment.  About 80% of the student body comes from within 50 miles of the campus, but some students have come from as far as Brazil, Hong Kong, Chile, China, the Dominican Republic, Honduras, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. The age of first-year students ranges from 16 to 66 years old.
