Tompkins County Public Library offers cybersecurity workshop for seniors

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – One local library is offering programming to help seniors avoid scams.

The Tompkins County Public Library (TCPL) is offering a cybersecurity workshop on Monday, July 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Attendees will learn about scams that target older adults and how to protect their mobile devices and other electronics. The workshop happens in the TCPL Digital Lab. Space is limited. You can learn more and register at TCPL’s website.

The same workshop will be offered again on Monday, August 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., also in the TCPL Digital Lab.
