Youth services contract to benefit Groton

GROTON, N.Y. (WHCU) — One Tompkins County town is teaming up with Cornell.

Groton recently approved a youth services contract with Cornell Cooperative Extension. The deal is worth about $50,000. It involves giving suggestions and preparing programs for the town’s Youth Commission.

In other Groton news, authorities put out an apartment fire on Sunday.
