Applications open for upcoming IPD officer exam

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Ithaca Police Department (IPD) is recruiting.

The City of Ithaca has posted the upcoming civil service exam for police officers.

The position comes with a starting salary of $78,507, and there are currently five vacancies in the department. Tompkins County residents must pay a $15 non-refundable application fee, and out-of-county residents must pay $50. The fee is waived for City of Ithaca residents.

Applications must be received by 4:30 p.m. on April 2. Learn more here.
