Autry applauds Syracuse men’s hoops team after beating Tennessee

SYRACUSE, NY (607NewsNow) — Syracuse Men’s Basketball Head Coach Adrian “Red” Autry is proud of his players.

On Monday, the Orange defeated Tennessee 62-60. Autry said Syracuse finished the game strong.

“The last two minutes, man . . . everybody just stepped up,” he said during a postgame press conference. “Guys made plays, and we won on the defensive end of the floor.”

Autry also credited the fans at the JMA Wireless Dome for setting the tone.

“They made it the Loud House,” he said. “That’s the type of support we need.”

The win snapped Syracuse’s three-game losing streak. The team returns to action on Nov. 11, when Saint Joseph’s visits ‘Cuse at 9 p.m.
