Beware of ‘aggressive’ fox in Ithaca, police say

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — An aggressive fox sighted around Ithaca.

The Ithaca Police Department received several calls Thursday, July 9 that the fox “approached pedestrians and either bit or attempted to bite them” in the area of Elmira and Spencer Rds.

Residents are being told not to approach the animal and instead call 911. Anyone bitten or scratched should immediately see a doctor.
