Bills fall to Falcons; Sabres too slow for Avalanche

Back-to-back losses for the Bills. They fell to the Falcons 24-14 on Monday. Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw two interceptions and was sacked four times in the loss.

A former player for the Mets and Yankees has died. Sandy Alomar Sr. passed away on Monday. He played for the Mets in 1967 and later played for the Yanks in the 1970s. Alomar had two sons who also played in the big leagues. He was 81.

Three straight losses for the Sabres. They fell to the Avalanche 3-1 on Monday. Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff said Buffalo “faded” in the third period.

The Rangers host the Oilers tonight at 7 p.m. New York enters the game with an overall record of 2-2.

The Knicks fell to the Wizards 120-103 in the preseason. New York had 18 turnovers in the loss.

The Cornell men’s soccer team entertains Colgate tonight at 7 p.m. Cornell enters the matchup with an overall record of 7-2-1.
