Bills lay egg in preseason; Yankees sweep Cardinals

The Bills had an ugly preseason performance on Sunday. They lost to the Bears 38-0. In a postgame press conference, Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott said his team has “a lot of work to do.” Backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky had 55 passing yards for Buffalo.

Back-to-back preseason wins for the Giants. They beat the Jets 31-12 on Saturday. In a postgame press conference, Giants Head Coach Brian Daboll said rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart “executed well.” Dart had one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown in the victory.

It was a wonderful weekend for the Yankees. They swept the Cardinals in a three-game series. The Yanks are back on the field on Tuesday in Tampa Bay.

The Mets beat the Mariners 7-3 on Sunday. Mark Vientos slugged a home run in the victory. The game was played in Williamsport, Pa., home of the Little League World Series.

No luck for the Syracuse Mets. They lost to Rochester 9-4 on Sunday. Syracuse will start a new series on Tuesday against Indianapolis.
