CNY SNAP secures funding to purchase Cortland building

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – A nonprofit in Cortland is staying put.

On July 15, the Central New York Spay and Neuter Assistance Program (CNY SNAP) announced that funding secured by Assemblymember Anna Kelles will allow them to purchase the building they currently operate out of on Salisbury Street in Cortland.

The organization thanked Kelles, her staff, and Cortland Mayor Scott Steve for their time and effort, as well as the greater Crown City community for its kind words and donations. CNY SNAP says it will now shift its focus to extensive renovations needed at the building to meet state standards, as well as purchasing new equipment to keep them in compliance.
