CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — Golfers in Cortland County could see a new place to hit practice shots.

The Cortlandville Zoning Board of Appeals is reviewing plans for a seasonal driving range. It would be on Commons Avenue near Westmore Lane.

According to town documents, the driving range would extend 350 yards. There would also be a free putting and chipping area.

The board will hold a public hearing on the project tonight at 5:30 p.m. at the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building.

Earlier this year, plans for a driving range on Starr Road in Cortlandville were rejected.
