Crews extinguish fire at Binghamton gas station

BINGHAMTON, NY (607NewsNow) — There are no reports of injuries after a fire in Binghamton.

On Jan. 21, authorities responded to Citgo on Exchange Street shortly after 1 a.m. According to the Binghamton Fire Department, a storage building attached to the back of the convenience store was on fire, and flames extended into the attic of the store.

The fire was extinguished in the single-digit temperatures. The Binghamton Police Department and other agencies assisted on the scene.
