Culvert replacement, long closure set for road in Tompkins County


FREEVILLE, NY (CortacaToday) – Part of a road in Tompkins County is set to close for nearly two months.

Beginning Tuesday, crews will undertake a major culvert replacement project on County Road 107, or Peruville Road, in Freeville. Specialist Jesse Wildman with the New York State Department of Transportation tells us the closure will happen at approximately 1477 Peruville Road, near State Route 38 and the Owasco inlet.

The New York State BridgeNY Culvert Project is scheduled to wrap up on October 1, 2024.
