DANBY, NY (607NewsNow) — A Tompkins County town might see a new park.

Lawmakers in Danby are considering designating 15 Bald Hill Road as public parkland. The roughly 1.35-acre property was previously used by the Danby Highway Department.

The Danby Town Board will talk about the potential designation this evening. The group gathers at 6 p.m. at Danby Town Hall.
