VIRGIL, NY (607NewsNow) – No injuries after a crash in Virgil.

On June 9, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies responded to Route 392 for a reported one-vehicle property damage crash.

Deputies say a tractor-trailer traveling along Route 392 left the roadway when the driver misjudged the curvature of the road. The big rig came to rest after rolling over in the ditch. The driver was unable to exit the vehicle on his own and was assisted by police and firefighters.

Route 392 was closed for several hours while crews removed the vehicle
