DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) – Two people are accused of stealing from an Airbnb in Dryden.

On August 31, members of the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office were called to a residence in the 1800 block of Slaterville Road for a reported burglary.

Deputies say the pair, identified as 28-year-old Anthony Carmenatty and 32-year-old Keianna Bligen, overstayed their time by several days. The call came in around 8:21 p.m. when the property owner learned the two had removed padlocks and entered secure, non-visitor areas of the home. Personal items belonging to the host were allegedly taken.

Carmenatty and Bligen are each charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal possession of a stolen property.
