DWI arrests drop in Tompkins County

ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Local authorities are dealing with fewer drunk drivers.

In June, the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office charged four people with DWI. That’s the smallest amount of any month this year.

March, which has Saint Patrick’s Day, saw the most DWI arrests. Deputies charged 12 people with drunk driving that month.
