JOHNSON CITY, NY (607NewsNow) – A happy ending in Broome County.

A firefighter from Group B freed the animal using “patience and care,” after which the rabbit quickly hopped away unharmed.

Johnson City FD says that while their primary mission is protecting lives and property, calls for animals in need are another example of the variety of situations they encounter while serving.
