HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) – A local school district is asking for help in its search for a top administrator.

The Homer CSD Board of Education is working with OCM BOCES to find its next superintendent.

Todd Freeman, a retired former superintendent of the Cincinnatus Central School District, continues to serve as interim superintendent. Freeman has been on the job since June 2026 after former superintendent Jeff Evener resigned to pursue other career opportunities.

To help inform its decision, Homer CSD is asking the community to take a survey, available here.
