CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — In Cortland County, officials are taking a long and close look at housing needs. 

Planning Director Trish Hiemstra tells 607 News Now there’s a strong and urgent needs for various types of housing.

A housing coalition is gathering information.

Hiemstra says the work will take several months to complete.
