Ithaca Fire Department is hiring, sign up for civil service exam by December 4

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Ithaca Fire Department is hiring.

The full-time, union position comes with a starting salary of about $52,000 with benefits.

Anyone interested should sign up to take the civil service test by 4:30 p.m. on December 4. The written exam is scheduled for January 10.

The Ithaca Fire Fighters Union, IAFF Local 737, recommends staying prepared, as civil service exams can take a long time to process, and staying fit to meet the demands of job.
