Ithaca Spencer Gifts location to close Sunday

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A fixture in nearly 50 years of Ithaca retail is preparing to close.

Spencer Gifts last day in the Shops at Ithaca Mall is reportedly this Sunday, January 18.

The novelty shop has been operating in the mall since its grand opening in 1976.

Spencer’s nearby locations in Horseheads at the Arnot Mall, Johnson City in the Oakdale Commons, and in Syracuse at Destiny USA are unaffected by the closure.
