ELMIRA, NY (607NewsNow) – An Ithaca woman awaits her day in court.

On June 4, Alina Gleockler was arrested by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear on a charge of grand larceny.

The warrant, issued on March 12, stems from an alleged incident in December 2025 in which the 39-year-old is accused of stealing over $1000 worth of items from Walmart in Horseheads.

Gleockler was remanded to Chemung County Jail without bail.
