LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) – After nearly a decade, the hit TV show Stranger Things is over.

The Netflix series came to an end in the final episode, which debuted on New Year’s Eve.

Local fans of the 80s-themed sci-fi adventure may have noticed a familiar face in the last season. Tompkins County native Katie Bruno has a small speaking part as a nurse in season 5.

According to IMDB, the class of 2007 Lansing grad also appeared in the Nicole Kidman-led film Holland, which was released earlier this year on Amazon Prime.
