CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — The fatal shooting by ICE is being closely watched and monitors.

Rep. John Mannion called the video footage “deeply disturbing” in a statement on Facebook. CBS News reports 37-year-old Renee Good was shot dead by an ICE officer Wednesday in Minneapolis. Mannion, who represents the city of Cortland in the 22nd Congressional district, wants to see a ‘full and transparent investigation.’

“This incident underscores my continued concerns about overly aggressive immigration enforcement tactics that are clearly straying from the promise to focus on criminals and the worst of the worst,” Mannion added.
