NICHOLS, NY (607NewsNow) – A Nichols man awaits his day in a Pennsylvania Court.

On Oct. 4, Wayne Floyd Jr. was arrested after allegedly leading authorities on a chase across state lines from Owego into Warren Township.

According to the Owego Pennysaver, members of the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office began the pursuit around 10:20 p.m. on Southside Road. As the 35-year-old approached the Keystone State, deputies contacted Bradford County authorities, who alerted Pennsylvania State Police.

Floyd Jr., who was ultimately taken into custody on Doc Lee Road, was wanted on multiple charges in New York, including attempted assault, fleeing and eluding, and reckless endangerment. He now faces two additional felonies in the Keystone State and is being held on $125,000 cash bail.
