One airlifted in Genoa crash

GENOA, NY (607NewsNow) – One person was flown to a trauma center after a crash in Cayuga County.

On September 2, the Genoa Volunteer Fire Department was called to the intersection of Stewarts Corners and Myers Roads just after 6:30 a.m. for a two-car collision.

One person had already extricated themself from their vehicle when firefighters arrived. They were taken to a hospital by ambulance. A person in the other vehicle was partially ejected in the crash. They were airlifted to a hospital.

An update on the pair’s condition was not available.
