OWEGO, NY (607NewsNow) – Lockheed Martin is marking a milestone.

On January 13, the defense contractor delivered its 350th MH-60R “Romeo” helicopter to the United States Navy at a ceremony in Owego.

It was delivered to the Navy’s Helicopter Maritime Strike Fleet Replacement Squadron. Officials say the unit’s technological capabilities make it the “premier global anti-submarine warfare helicopter.”

Lockheed has also delivered the aircraft to Australia, Denmark, Saudi Arabia, India, Greece, and South Korea, with upcoming scheduled deliveries to Spain and Norway.
