TIOGA, NY (607NewsNow) — A convicted Owego sex offender is under arrest.

According to Tioga County Sheriff Gary Howard, Luke Travis failed to register a new address, which is a felony charge. Under state law, a convicted sex offender must alert authorities of a new address within 10 days of moving. The 36-year-old Travis will appear in Town of Tioga Court on Feb. 11.

Sheriff Howard says Travis was arrested on Jan. 16.
