(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week are Cosmo (L) from CNY Snap and Howie (R) from Cortland County SPCA.

Cosmo is about 2 years old and came to the shelter in March 2025. He is a little shy as he has never had a home where he got much attention, but he can be pet if you approach him calmly. Formerly living in a home that was overcrowded with too many cats, he would do well in a safe and comfortable atmosphere where he knows he’s safe.

Howie is 2 years old and has a big personality and an equally big voice, true to his hound nature. A former stray, he loves spending time with his favorite people going on walks and hikes. Howie is a playful, energetic and sweet boy who loves to chat whenever he has the chance.
