In Cortland, the City of Cortland is debuting its first-ever Noon Year’s Eve Celebration on Main Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free, family-friendly event includes a balloon drop, apple cider toast at noon, and activities from local businesses perfect for younger families or those celebrating early.

Later in the evening, Greek Peak Mountain Resort’s Acropolis Ballroom will host a New Year’s Eve Celebration featuring dinner, dancing, and a midnight toast, offering a more formal way to ring in the new year.

Ithaca:

In Ithaca, several ticketed events are planned throughout downtown such as Deep Dive’s NYE Party, the Argos Inn’s New Year’s Gala hosted across two connected venues, the Liquid State NYE Spectacular, and more events which can be found here.

Corning:

Corning will offer multiple options, including “A Night Under the Stars” at the Radisson Hotel Corning, an upscale celebration with live entertainment and a midnight toast. Downtown bars will be open at various times for a wide selection of new year festivities.

Elmira:

In Elmira, residents can enjoy New Year’s Neon Night at JaMS Fitness Club, a unique celebration combining pickleball, roller skating, dancing, and music, offering a fun and active way to welcome the new year.
