TRUMANSBURG, NY (607NewsNow) – A shuttle service is coming to Taughannock Falls State Park.

Beginning May 23, the shuttle will loop from the South Point Park Office to the North Point parking lot before making stops at the Regional Headquarters, the Overlook parking lot, and the Black Diamond Trailhead parking lot on Gorge Road.

The service will operate from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends through June 27. Daily service will begin June 28 and run through September 7, after which weekend service will return through October.

“Taughannock Falls is excited to welcome Big D’S Limousine/Auburn Limousine LLC to the park,” said Fred Bonn, Regional Director for the Finger Lakes State Park System. “Their proposal and experience in operating a similar service at Watkins Glen State Park make them a perfect fit. Their service will assist patrons in experiencing the full width and breadth of the park and will make a stronger connection for the Black Diamond Trail and the shoreline of Cayuga Lake.”

Big D’S Limousine/Auburn Limousine LLC, which has operated the shuttle service in Watkins Glen since 2015, is excited to expand to Taughannock Falls State Park.

“This shuttle service gives guests a safer, easier, and more convenient way to explore the park while helping reduce congestion and parking challenges during the busy season.”

The cost is $6 for adults and $1 for children.
